Dr. Matthew Schaeffer is an interventional physiatrist with more than a decade of experience treating spine and back pain. A native of the Philadelphia suburbs, Dr. Schaeffer received a medical degree from Temple University and graduated internship in Internal Medicine from Lankenau Hospital in 1999. He completed residency training as a chief resident in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from Stanford University in 2002. He is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and certified by the Age Management Medicine Group.
An active member of the International Spine Intervention Society since 2002 Dr. Matthew Schaeffer has lectured extensively on the topics of spinal disorders and has been voted one of his regions Top Doctors.
Dr. Matthew Schaeffer currently practices with Premier Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Associates in West Chester Pennsylvania.
